Sainsonic KAMLAN 50mm f1.1: USD170 Bokeh Beast

Kamlan? Sainsonic could have come up with a better choice when it came to naming this lens, as it sounds bad in English and even worse in Chinese depending on the dialect! But, I guess you can't complain when it only costs USD170 for a lens aperture this big at f1.1. This is a manual focus lens so autofocus freaks need not apply.

The Kamlan 50mm f/1.1 manual focus lens is designed for mirrorless cameras, with APS-C (Sony E-mount / Canon EOS-M / Fuji X mount) as well as the micro four thirds sensors. This lens provides bright F1.1 aperture at fixed focal lengths 50mm, equivalent to 135 full width of 100mm focal length. The extremely shallow depth of field at open aperture produces portraits and detailed studies of unequalled aesthetic effect. It also provides outstanding fast and accurate shutter speed by achieving great amount of light.

There are 11 circular aperture blades, 5 groups 5 elements lens stricture with multi-coated optical glass, ensures low image distortion,excellent image sharpness and contrast. 50mm focal length is equivalent to 75mm on APS-C camera.
