ONCOREdesigns GoPro lense hood

Lens hoods are meant to prevent direct light from getting onto the front element of camera lenses resulting in flares and reducing contrast. Pictures taken with a lens hood installed can have richer colours and deeper saturation. The secondary use for a lens hood is to protect the lens.

So far nothing much has existed in the way of a lense hood for GoPro actioncams. ONCOREdesigns has remedied that with the Eclipse Lens Hood for GoPro HERO3/HERO3+ and HERO4. Haven't seen one for Hero 5 but by the looks of it it should be coming out soon or this will fit it too as the design of the GoPro 5 hasn't changed that drastically and the use of straps allow for minute adjustments to the camera body.
