Moment: iPhone 7/7+ lense options
The iPhone 7/7+ camera' are already hailed as being exceptional. Moment is a kickstarter aided company that makes lenses and adapters for the iPhone. Recently they have tested a new adapter and a single lense that when shooting in 1x mode with the 7+ you can still make your image wider, more macro, or more telephoto. Although the lenses work, the application is limited to just a single Moment lens working when it is placed just over the “wide” lens of the phone. To make the Moment lenses compatible with iPhone 7+, they are developing a Moment mounting plate and case, expected to ship by the end of November. When on the phone (without a lens mounted), the mounting plate will still allow the iPhone 7+ dual lens to work as usual. What bother with the Moment lense? The dual lens of the iPhone 7+ is great, but at 28mm, it’s still lacking the ability to get wider. With the Moment Wide and Superfish, you can now make it A LOT wider. Using wider lenses like these yields great results for capturing large scenes and recording video. There are three current Moment options that’ll be a good fit for the 7 Plus, and they each cost $100: The new Superfish Lens (15mm), the Wide Lens (18mm), and the Macro Lens (10x magnification).
