USD6 million worth of Canon camera gear for the Rio Olympics

The stuff photographer wet dreams are made of! Canon recently released some images of the gear they have been stockpiling for the Olympics in Rio making even Getty Images arsenal look puny in comparison! Canon has brought over 1,500 lenses and over 950 DSLR bodies to the Olympic Games this year. The location these shots were taken is the Canon Professional Services (CPS) Depot room at the games. The company has announced it will be loaning out 1,600 lenses to sports videographers and photojournalists during the games. Canon Professional Services (CPS) has also hired 78 Tech Support staff members to support photographers needs during the Olympics
