The look is super cool, yes, but ergonomically the way you sight up the camera and focus will be much improved instead of having to jam the camera in your face, you can now push it forward and with something like a Bushhawk can be used to trigger the shutter up front on its foregrip, this will make for a much more comfortable shooting posture than the traditional camera hold. But the benefits don't stop here, with viewfinder extenders you also get better daylight views too. Some great LCD viewfinder extenders are made by Swivi, Tarion Zacuto and Carry Speed.
