Panasonic HX-A1 Action Cam

Looks like the action-camera market is really livening up, Panasonic boosts its presence with its entry level HD offering the HX-A1ME – the younger sibling of the HX-A500E. As an entry level action camera the HX-A1ME cuts a few corners on hardware. Where the HX-A500E boasts a 4K video resolution and a separate recording unit. Straight of the bat the form factor is very appealing compared to the GoPro and it only weighs 45gms! Adding to the cool factor this thing can shoot in IR mode and Glasscover (night mode) under low light conditions. Its got all the other standard actioncam features too, waterproof up to 1.5metres (IPX8 compliant), dustproof, shockproof and freezeproof.
